Our research staff consists of Ph.D. and M.S. chemists with a passion for seeing their chemistry scaled up into large equipment, and meeting the needs of our customers.
At Lacamas Laboratories, we believe that the chemists who develop a process are the ones who are best suited to guide it from laboratory to production scale. Unlike some companies, where syntheses are “thrown over the fence” to engineering as soon as they are deemed suitable, we require the chemists who develop the processes to be heavily involved in the scale up and manufacture of every product we make.
This practice helps ensure that our processes are developed from the start with the plant equipment and economics in mind, and makes development and scale up of new products one of our strongest skills. |
